The sky behind this page is drawn live from real charts: 5,044 stars to sixth magnitude from the Yale Bright Star Catalogue, the Milky Way in galactic coordinates, and nebulae and galaxies placed at their true positions and sizes. It drifts at sidereal rate and slews to a new field on every page.
